CRL 2A: (Morning arrival)
DAY 1: SAIGON – VUNG LIEM – TRUNG NGHIA (_/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel, The Mekong Delta, popularly known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, is famous for its vast rice fields, innumerous waterways and beautiful landscape. This morning start your tour to the heart of the Mekong Delta with the transfer to Trung Nghia, Vung Liem (approx. 180 km) by your own transportation/guide.
After arrival meet local leads to the lodge through the countryside road. Walking along the village path for a few minutes you will reach to the Lodge. Welcome drink and check in. Lunch is served at lodge’s balcony by the river view.
Rest for a while, you start to row a boat through canal and visit pop rice factory. Here you know how local makes living by raising pigs, cows and use their waste to generate green energy to create biogas for free cooking. It is the home of Mr. Cong (Duc as a nick name). He shows you the traditional way to make rice or corn popped while his wife completes the product of which we bring them to school for kids in the next morning.
Then; continue to walk for 5 minutes to the place where you select bicycles for a cycling tour in the afternoon on quiet village roads passing fruit gardens, dragon fruits, coconut trees and Phu Nhuan Communal Temple. Continue to cycle through rice fields and back to the lodge crossing a peaceful village. This is the time of sunset for your relaxation and camera testing. Back to the Lodge, take a shower before experience of cooking class with family and try all your food cooked. Dinner is served at the Lodge. 10 minutes after dinner you and locals walk to the neighbor with coconut leave torches in hand. Meeting and chatting with farmer and veteran about the area. Poon is introduced and its sticks burned while traditional music performance with special instruments played.
End of amazing day is about 21:30PM.

DAY 2: TRUNG NGHIA – VUNG LIEM (B)
Breakfast at Lodge. Walk to visit Cao Dai temple, continue walking in the mud path for 10 minutes to visit the blind man who show you how to weave coconut fabric used to make the mattress. Then, watching him making the poon sticks of which we burnt at the previous night.
Row a boat to visit school and walk to Chua Xu temple in where locals and visitors from other provinces come to pray. Paddle back to the Lodge, feeding the fish and cutting water coconut leaves, which are used to build the walls and roof of the houses. Firstly, you watch, learn from local making it and later practice to complete the product. Fishing activity if time permitted or interested.

08:30: Visit Cao Dai, coconut fabric weaving, poon making show
09:30: Paddle to visit school and Chua Xu temple
11:30: Rowing boat back to the Lodge. Check out
11:45: Cut and weave water coconut leaves
12:00: Say goodbye to family and leave for next destination. End of services
